On Tuesday, Valerie Bertinelli's son took to social media to share a hilarious video featuring his mother. In the clip, he roasted her because of her cooking skills.
Van Halen zoomed in on the burnt offering, sorry; we mean onion rings, and asked his mother: “Hey, mom, who has a cooking show?” The whole tray of onion rings was pretty much charred.

Van Halen mocked his mother in the caption of the post announcing that she was the same double Emmy winner who has her own cooking show. Having tagged her in the post, Bertinelli hilariously responded in the comments section with a gif of a woman saying, “blocked and reported.”
VALERIE’S BURNT ONION RINGS
Her son took her response as a challenge and asked her if she didn't mean "burnt?” Someone else joked how the professionals usually do the cooking behind the scenes for Bertinelli.
DUFF GOLDMAN IS EMBARRASSED
Van Halen noted how the facade had finally been broken and that his mother couldn't actually cook. Duff Goldman, a chef from Charm City Cakes, added to the drama by stating how “embarrassed” he was.
BERTINELLI SPENDING TIME WITH SON
Bertinelli and her son have been spending more time together at her Los Angeles home. The pair has been sheltering together against the novel coronavirus pandemic at the home.
WHO IS HER SON’S FATHER
Van Halen is the chef’s only child with Edward Van Halen, and he was born on March 16, 1991. The star legally separated from her ex-husband in 2001.
They filed for divorce in December 2005, and it was finalized in December 2007.
