Queen Latifah Honored Her Friend Taraji P Henson on Her 50th Birthday With a Sweet Tribute

Queen Latifah recently shared a photo of herself with Taraji P. Henson in honor of her 50th birthday. She also penned a sweet tribute where she described the actress as her sister.

Taraji P. Henson turned 50 over the weekend and she was met with warm wishes from her family, friends, including ace actress Queen Latifah.

While Henson wore her hair in a sleek bun, Latifah rocked a long straight hairstyle parted by the side. The adorable picture was accompanied by a caption that read:

"Happy birthday to my talented sista @tarajiphenson."

Born on September 11, 1970, Henson is most famous for her role as Cookie Lyon in the hit series, "Empire." Henson's character quickly became a fan favorite for her sassy remarks and flashy fashion style. This also made the show one of the biggest in its first year of release.

While making her way to the stage for her acceptance speech, Henson picked up cookies from a table and shared them to people in the audience in honor of her character.
