Country singer Martina McBride paid tribute to her mother, Jeanne Schiff who died after an emergency heart surgery, in an emotional Instagram post.
The singer took to Instagram to pen a lovely tribute to her mom. The singer shared a series of throwback photos of her mom tending to her at various ages.

"My mom passed away this morning. She was a complex and amazing woman. Strong. Chic. No-nonsense. Hilarious. Witty."
The singer wrote about her mom's accommodating nature. Martina revealed that her mom took care of the household while also stating that her home was a haven for guests, including members of her extended family.

Mcbride accorded the self-sufficiency in herself and siblings to her mother. She explained that her mother let them take on tasks themselves, allowed them to go out to play, and participate in household chores.
The dejected singer recalled how she spent the last week in ICU with her mom.
The singer revealed that although her mom didn't suppress them with affections, wasn't present at every ballgame, or help them do their homework; her children knew that she was there for them.
The "Independence Day" singer recalled that her doting mom had conversations bordering on faith, morals, health, and the importance of having a beauty sleep as she and her siblings grew older.
"As we all got older, we had many conversations about life, faith, morals, health."
McBride recalled how cheerful her mom was and how she loved to tell stories. The singer revealed that even though her mother wasn't a cooking enthusiast, the late woman made the best-fried chicken she's ever tasted.
McBride and the entirety of her immediate family rallied around their mom at her hospital bed. The singer relayed her appreciation to the team of doctors responsible for their efforts in trying to save her mom.
The dejected singer recalled how she spent the last week in ICU with her mom. She shared that she held her mom's hands, rubbed her shoulders, and reiterated her love to her mom on countless occasions within that week.
Although McBride and her siblings have lost their Matriarch, the family will learn to be healthy and move on accordingly as their mom taught them. The singer ended her piece by highlighting her love for her mom.
