'NCIS: New Orleans' Is Reportedly Adding New Cast Member Following Lucas Black's Exit

"NCIS: New Orleans" has stirred the media as reports that there will be a new addition, "The Originals" star, Charles Michael Davis, to its cast surfaces.

The update has many asking the mind-boggling question of whether the new cast member will be a replacement for Lucas Black, who left the show last year because of personal reasons.

According to Country Living, the famous actor will play the role of Special Agent Quentin Carter following the sudden demise of Agent Lasalle, who was portrayed by Black.

Actor Lucas Black was indeed popular on the show, which made his sudden decision to resign a sharp blow for fans. While Pride has avenged agent LaSalle's death, his absence still leaves a gaping hole in the hearts of his fans.

This is perhaps why the news that Davis has signed on to join the cast has left many reeling and creating numerous speculations like he may be NOLA's new replacement for Agent LaSalle.

From findings, Davis, who is no newbie to television, may just be the perfect fit for the role. He has garnered fame from performing excellently in shows like "The Originals," "Younger," "Chicago P.D.," "For the People," and more.

"NCIS: New Orleans" is currently on break and listed to make a comeback on February 16 with a new episode that will be titled, "Bad Moon Rising."

IMDB only lists Davis as a character appearing on one episode of the show.

The question of how long he'll stay on the show, however, remains unanswered with the rising speculations that he may be the replacement for Agent LaSalle.

With no word of confirmation from the production team, however, it remains mere speculations. As regards Davis as the new replacement for Black, that seems near impossible because Agent LaSalle will remain a special memory for fans even long after his death.
